Setouchi Triennale Summer Session, Ogijima in May and more.

Hello everyone,
Today is the first day of the summer session of the Setouchi Triennale 2025.
And the first notification I received from the official app this morning was a warning about heat stroke and the unsafe heat conditions in the region.
Please take these warnings seriously if you're coming this summer. I have never experienced summers as brutal as those in Japan, and I lived in Florida for five years. Granted, that was before global heating really intensified, but still.
It's 38°C today, and it won't go below 35°C for at least another week.
I was hoping to see the new art in the eastern part of the prefecture this weekend, but I will abstain.
This means I won't see much of the Triennale this summer, as I'm flying to France next week, and I'll spend most of August there. I'll be back a few days before the summer session ends, and if I'm not too tired, I'll try to see the art then.
The good news is that, as I'll have a lot of free time in France, I'll have time to catch up on my reports from the spring session.
Stay tuned!
